Pin one thing
Pin the match you care about beside the notch. When a wicket falls, it takes the whole row for a moment — then gets out of the way.
macOS · native · v0.1 beta
Live scores and market prices, running quietly through the top row of your MacBook — behind the notch, out of your way.
Sample scores and prices.
01 — How it works
A thin black band either side of the notch, matching the hardware. Text slides through it and passes behind the camera. Full width in full-screen apps.
Move the pointer up and the band folds into the notch and drops into a strip below it, uncovering every menu title and status icon underneath.
Rest on the strip and it opens: everything you follow, with batters and bowler, gaps and freshness. Click any line for the full story. Right-click to pin.
Install
The beta isn't verified by Apple yet, so macOS asks you to approve it the first time. After that it opens like any other app. The Apple-verified version is coming soon.
Open FanNotch.dmg and drag Fan Notch onto the Applications folder.
macOS says it can't verify the developer. Click Done. Nothing has gone wrong.
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the line about Fan Notch, click Open Anyway and confirm with your password or Touch ID.
It opens out of your notch with a short welcome: what to show, which sports, how it should look. It asks for no other permissions — no screen recording, no accessibility, nothing. Right-click the strip under the notch for Settings and Quit.
02 — Built for people who notice
Pin the match you care about beside the notch. When a wicket falls, it takes the whole row for a moment — then gets out of the way.
Cricket, F1 and Indian indices and shares. One thread, or sports on the left and prices on the right. Your choice.
Scroll, page through, or hold one item perfectly still. Speed from a slow drift to zero.
Offline? It keeps the last scores, dimmed, and refreshes the moment you're back. It never shows a spinner in your notch.
No screen recording, no accessibility, no location. Outgoing network only. Your keys live in your Keychain.
Swift and Core Animation. The window server does the scrolling, so your battery barely notices.
03 — Pro
The free plan follows one sport, with your markets, in Scroll mode. Pro follows every sport at once and opens up the rest. One key covers three Macs.
Thanks for buying Pro. Your licence key is on its way by email: paste it into Fan Notch → Settings → General.

No scraping. Every provider is used through its published API, within its limits, with its credit shown.
06 — Questions
At rest it sits beside the notch and can cover a menu title or status icon. The moment your pointer goes up there it folds away and drops below the notch, so everything underneath is clickable. You can also set how far it reaches, or keep it in the strip below the notch.
None. It needs outgoing network access and nothing else. Keys and tokens are stored in your Mac's Keychain and only ever sent to the service they belong to.
It draws a notch-shaped black pill at the top of the screen, or stays hidden — your choice.
With an Upstox account, generate a free read-only Analytics Token (valid for a year) and paste it into Settings. No daily login.
Apps from outside the App Store are checked by Apple before they open. This beta hasn't been through Apple's verification yet, so macOS asks you to approve it yourself, once, in Privacy & Security. The Apple-verified version is coming soon and won't need this step.
The beta is free.
